The Penn Spinfisher VI Spinning Rod & Reel Combos are the ultimate rod and reel combo. Coming from the same series, the Spinfisher VI, these graphite core construction rods and spinning reels were designed to complement each other in every way imaginable. The Spinfisher Rods are constructed from graphite composite, a combination of fiberglass, graphite, and other fibers, to create a strong, lightweight rod featuring Penn Stainless Steel Dura Guides and STT rod tip.

The Spinfisher Reels feature an HT-100 drag system, sporting carbon fiber washers that perform well in extreme situations, and also maintains an IPX5 rating, which uses seals in key locations to keep water out of your reel. With the Spinfisher VI reels, you have the option of a standard front drag type, or the Live Liner drag type. The Live Liner Drag was built for fishing live bait, simply pull the switch back and the front drag disengages and runs off the rear drag, much like a conventional reel.
