The PENN® Ally II All Roller Conventional Boat Rods have the power and durability you need for offshore saltwater fishing. The Ally II All Roller Rods are crafted from an incredibly tough, E-Glass Rod Blank, withstanding the strain of big, hard fighting fish. The blank is outfitted with PacBay® machined aluminum roller guides with large knot clearance that are placed in key, high-stress areas, to extend the life of your line by reducing friction. The PacBay® Roller Guides utilize a durable, one piece frame that is machine from solid marine grade aluminum. The aluminum rollers come standard with Teflon coated stainless steel bearings and aluminum side plates, increasing the guide strength.

The Ally II All Roller Rods have a few different butt/handle options available. You have the choice of an EVA and Slick Butt handle, featuring the Seaguide® HBS Heavy Duty Aluminum Reel Seat and PENN® Aluminum Gimbal to keep your rod butt planted during prolonged battles. The Seaguide® HBS reel Seat is precision machined from marine grade aluminum with a ribbed internal diameter to increase bonding strength and creating a high-strength profiled body. Dual locking nuts with Delran spacer keeps your reel firmly secured to your rod.

The second option features an EVA handle with a PacBay® Bent Butt with integrated reel seat and gimbal. The PacBay® aluminum butts are machined from marine grade anodized aluminum, with locking nuts that are reverse knurled to prevent scratching rods when transporting or storing. PacBay® aluminum butts are also known for their attractive appearance.
