Niiyama Lures Niiyama 9″ Oily Aku Lures

The Niiyama Lures 9″ Oily Aku is a beautifully crafted lure that is model after the skipjack tuna, with hand painted striped belly and hand carved and textured gills and pectoral fins. Crafted by Jon Niiyama in Hawaii, these lures are produced at the highest quality and comes with Niiyama’s unique signature on the steps as a mark of authenticity.

These are very versatile and effective lures that can be added to any position in your spread. The Melton fishing staff recommends rigging these with a 10/0 single or double hook rig and 50-130 lb line. These lures have round steps that can skirted with regular 9″ skirts or flashabou skirts.
