Niiyama Lures Niiyama 9″ Ballyhoo Lures

Niiyama Lures 9″ Ballyhoo is a unique ballyhoo head lure made and painted by Jon Niiyama in Hawaii that mimics the streamline design of the ballyhoo with a halfbeak. This lure is handcrafted with careful attention to detail with a blue orange gradient on the halfbeak and textured pectoral fins. Even the eyes are not perfectly round but has a slight taper that copies the eyes of real ballyhoo. This lure also comes with Niiyama’s distinctive autograph carefully painted on the steps.

This is a beautiful but also very functional and effective lure. Our staff recommends rigging these with a 10/0 single or double hook rig and 50-130 lb line. The back profile of the steps have an oval triangular shape that is designed for flashabou skirts.
