Let’s bring her back to LIFE! The original Captain’s Choice is back! The Hibby, short for Hibbard, is named after Kevin Hibbard, and it is based on the Captain’s Choice. Hibbard had to retire his Captain’s Choice that was made in 2007, as one of its eyes became filled with water and never ran the same after. Hibbard wanted a new lure that resembled his favorite. And so, the Hibby was born. The Hibby is a new shape made by Gary Eoff, the master lure maker of Marlin Magic Lures, and is part of the Signature Series. This lure is top dog in any angler’s arsenal and gets bites in almost any position because of its pear shape. Its angled face and unique shell eye enables the lure to catch attention and perform in any sea conditions, it surely will not disappoint.
