Daiwa BG Spinning Rod & Reel Combos

The Daiwa BG Saltwater Spinning Rod & Reel Combos are the ultimate rod & reel combination for serious saltwater fisherman. The BG2500 – BG4000 & 7ft. rod combinations come with a carbon graphite rod blank, with inherently superior wear resistance for long life, and cork hand grips. The BG4500 – BG6500 combinations(& BG4000 w/ 8ft. rod) come with a graphite composite rod blank, lightweight and excellent performance out on the water, and EVA foam hand grips. All blanks are equipped with aluminum oxide rod guides.

The BG series reels feature an anodized aluminum housing and Daiwa’s Digigear technology, utilizing gears 20% – 40% larger than most of the competition. The gears in the BG series reels also feature a larger tooth pattern, giving the BG reels a much longer life span and durability than competitive reels. The BG series reels feature an Air Rotor system for ultimate rotational balance, Daiwa’s ATD Tournament drag system for a much smoother drag, and Twist Buster technology, designed to reduce line twist and friction between the line and the roller.
